The company Högg AG Produktionstechnik is a specialised supplier of sophisticated mechanical manufacturing, including engineering and system responsibility, operating throughout Europe.

For our customers we plan and manufacture prototypes, individual and series parts as well as complete system components.

We maintain efficient product engineering to provide our customers with innovative solutions in the form of cost-effective designs and manufacturing processes. Our core competencies are being expanded and deepened with targeted investments.

A constant examination of the latest production technologies and materials enables us to recognise innovations and implement them for our purposes. Innovative strength, reliability and performance are important basic values of our company.

We strive for a zero-defect mentality in our services, so that the economic efficiency and continuous increase of the company’s performance is guaranteed. A constant improvement of processes is one of our highest goals to constantly increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Högg Group

The Högg Holding AG company group consists of three companies. Each company is completely autonomous and independently managed and yet all benefit from each other. Today, the Högg Group has a total of 150 employees, trains 12 apprentices and is a supplier for well-known customers from all over Europe. The core of the group is Högg AG Produktionstechnik. Through innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, the company was expanded by Högg Liftsysteme AG in 1990 and simplify engineering AG in 2012.

Högg Liftsysteme AG is one of Switzerland’s leading experts for stair lifts, seat lifts, platform lifts, wheelchair lifts, ceiling lifts, elevators and lifting platforms. The field of activity includes the development, production and assembly of lifts for persons with reduced mobility.

simplify engineering AG, founded in 2012, is a Swiss development partner and independent system supplier. As a universal solution partner, the simplify team accompanies projects from development to production and on-site commissioning, including maintenance and service. Our speciality is to find solutions for the transportation of people and goods.

History

Högg AG Produktionstechnik has been a partner to its customers for 110 years.

What began in 1905 as a blacksmith’s shop in Lichtensteig has developed into a modern, innovative company with over 100 employees and a production area of 10,000 m2.
Customers on the domestic market and abroad count daily on the competence that has been developed over many years.

• 1960/1965 Conversion of the forging shop into a contract manufacturing company
• 1971/1978/1984 Gradual expansion of the production area
• 1977 Development of the first profile milling machine
• 1990 Foundation of Högg Liftsysteme AG
• 1998 Alfred Högg takes over the management of the company
• 2004 Inclusion of additional production premises in Soorpark/Bütschwil
• 2005 100-year anniversary
• 2009 Ivo Högg takes over the management of the company
• 2010 Move to new production facilities in Wattwil. Consolidation of all production sites
• 2012 Foundation of simplify engineering AG
• 2017 High investments in the machinery
